John's solos we're more meoldic
And Ryan's are more technical.
They have two TOTALLY different styles
Comparing the two is like apples to oranges

I feel like Ryan is there technically, but his solos are so... American... (note that he did much better in this particular performance)
I guess I like John's 'style' better, if you will.

dont get me wrong, their new guitarist is incredible. but their old guitar player is better. the solos on miasma and nocturnal r so much better in comparison to the ones on deflorate
