In January 2005, soldiers of the 172nd Infantry of the New Hampshire National Guard patrolled a section of MSR Tampa near Balad Iraq. They were based at Camp Anaconda, one of the largest bases in Iraq. The soldiers describe their life on the road, which included several strikes by insurgents against their humvees with roadside bombs, also called IEDs. Video is by freelance reporter Doug Grindle.
