This video is for Dave Canterbury's wilderness survival challenge. These are wild plants from my area that can respectively help with cold symptoms, upset stomach, headache and serve as an antiseptic. I think I forgot to name spruce when I filmed this so I will add an annotation.

  • Pine needle tea, a personal favourite...very refreshing and more qualities than eating oranges. Learned now about Dogwood, thanks for that. Charcoal from your fire is great for upset guts, it absorbs sutff in your colon. I had a chance to force a fellow jiker to take some lastyear lol.....and it worked. Mix it up with hot water. He strugled to get it down but soon felt better.

  • Nice!! seen some of that "fireweed" never knew what it was and there is lots around here, thanks for that!

  • good video, thanks for showing, hope to see more of the string you make 5/5
