when i first heard this song i'm pretty sure i liked it mostly cuz i was born in 1996 and my fav animal is the wombat lol :P but now i love really love this song. it always gets stuck in my head :)

its not about being born in 1996. its about his teenage years. so for me in 2012 im 16 and i can relate to this in my own way. the only way i cant is i havent been into my future yet to look back to my teenage life and what was going on but i still love this song and do feel i will miss my teenage life. thats what the song is in my view. not if you were born in the 90s because like others say, you wouldnt of had a clue what was going on
