Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC) and Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO), members of the Senate committee with responsibility for education policy, today led a group of moderate Democratic Senators in outlining specific goals for education reform.

In addition to Hagan and Bennet, Senators Joe Lieberman (I-CT), Mary Landrieu (D-LA), Thomas Carper (D-DE), Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Chris Coons (D-DE) and Education Secretary Arne Duncan held a press conference today at a Washington, D.C. pre-K-8 school, Walker-Jones Education Campus, to introduce their goals, which Secretary Duncan supports.

  • Senator Kay Hagan is a horrible representative for the people of North Carolina. She is anti gun and has received an "F" rating from the NRA and Gun Owners of America. She is a big supporter of increasing taxes and regulation on American businesses. Another leftist Democrat who gives nice speeches, but the action is opposite of her talk. She is not responsive to the residents of NC! She should resign.
