Bloomsburg-
Dan Rae the Democratic candidate for State Representative in the 109th district has announced his victory by write-in campaign on Monday. The official results were announced around noon at the Columbia County court house. Rae beat Millard 407-288 according to the official vote tally.
Rae had his nomination petition challenged by Dave Millard, the Republican incumbent. This challenge resulted in his name being removed from the ballot, forcing a write-in campaign and requiring a minimum of 300 votes to become the Democratic nominee in November. Rae is 21 years old and currently a student at Bloomsburg University.
