I had the Axis 8 in the left and the Axis 9 on the right.. and serato works better with the Axis 9. I never used the 8.. then I upgraded to Denons 3500s and then I got another pair of the 3700s. =)

K I have the axis 8 cd players (except the screen is red instead of blue; the cue,pause, and stutter buttons are red, green, and green goin from cue to pause; and the reloop buttons are red) and I also have a Numark Dxm01 mixer. I've had these for 7 yrs. now. How do I record music to my computer? Can u or anybody here answer that?

Sorry, just seeing your message. What I did was I have a booth channel from my mixer (output) going to my external cd burner/recorder (sony makes a decent one) It records the songs, I cut the tracks, finalize it and then run it to my computer. Its a long process but I find it the most effective. I dont know an easier way either.
Hope that helps

You may have to reset it. I dont have mine anymore but i believe the way you recalibrate the unit is bring the pitch slider all the way down, then all the way up. After that hold both loop out and reloop butttons at the same time and spin the jog wheel. If that doesnt work call numark or just google Recalibrate axis 8 and see what comes up. Sorry for the delayed response

nice video. whats the diffrences between axis 9 and axis 8?

@djsoulmanlt
the 9's are actually better. The jog wheel is sensitive and responds nicely. If you play around with it enough, it will sound like you have a high end turntable. I love the effects however its not that durable and wear n tear is not so great. I now have the Denon S5500 (its great)
