Rachel is kind of talking to Jessica like she is a child. She keeps repeating sentences to her ("when that thickens up"), says things like "Oh my gosh, she's helpful and polite!", etc. It's like she's praising a child in that one sentence for being helpful. Jess is 25 (I think)...she's no child, she shouldn't be treated like one.
