@samson8487 OK, when you go to samson8487's channel, he's has a video of Phil Collins singing Philip Baily's "Easy Lover"!!!! In academia, we call that "deep in the closet." LMAO!

@samson8487 Man, this video has really brought out the genetic mutants. If anyone doubts that racism and homophobia are alive and well, I'll just point them to rocket scientists like samson8487. Sad.

@blazak Thank you for the information, sir. I dont think we are yet to see a crime as horrible as Jasper. I was in 6th grade when it happened and it definitely got alot of coverage here in Philadelphia.
A few years ago I actually wrote Lawrence Brewer a letter and he actually seemed like a pretty nice guy. The guy was definitely a racist and was certainly not remorseful for his crime, but he seemed like a nice person based on his correspondence.

I asked myself the same question. And I am black. Look up Coral Eugene Watts. They don't want people in general to know about him. He murdered more than 100 white women in a three year period. I was heartbroken. Black people are seen as gang related murderers and thugs. Not serial killers. They don't want us to fear or even know that blacks are potential predators. I know this through first hand experience.
HATE is NOT a CRIME!!!

@LongLiveTheKing1986 True, hate is not a crime. But we always explore motive. Even though both end up with a dead body, murder is charged differently than manslaughter. And a murder that is motivated by hate is charged differently than a murder that is motivated by money. Hate crimes are a form of terrorism.

@blazak I think you're right. I don't mean to stir up the pot here or turn people on here against me, but I think "hate crime" laws were invented to attack the criminal acts of white people. Maybe you can prove me wrong but it isn't often I hear of a Black person being executed or sentenced to death for a hate crime against a white person. Once again if I can be proven wrong I will definitely appreciate it. Seriously.

@LongLiveTheKing1986 I know it may look that way, but black people are charged with hate crimes all the time (Look at the data in the FBI Uniform Crime Report on black-on-white hate crimes). If fact, the Supreme Court decision on hate crimes (Mitchell vs. Wisconsin) was a case of a black on white hate crime. There just haven't been any high profile murders of whites by blacks based on race. At least not as horrible as Jasper. If there was, it would be prosecuted as a hate crime.

just found it the victim was james tillery, You must ask yourself why the double standard. money was also taken for mr tillery. So the police were quick to call it a non hate crime. If Mr boyd had 5 dollars taken from him are you sure that it would not of been a hate crime ? hypocricity is evil.

@DREXELALUMNI If the crime was motivated BY THE VICTIM'S RACE, it should be charged as a hate crime. There are plenty of black-on-white hate crimes charged each year (just look at the FBI UCR). But if was about money and not race, then it was not a hate crime. Hope that clears it up.
