Bit harsh...they are indeed an Irish development squad (development is the key word here) and excelled last year with Stephen Gallagher winning the Ras (first Irish cyclist to win Ras in 4 years) which was the highlight and are going really well again this year. Team manager Kurt was in fact a fine cyclist but decided to concentrate on management and became the youngest ever team manager in cycling. The make up of the team 5 Irish, 5 Belgian and an English rider...best of luck to them
with all due respect..............they are fuckin useless.......callin themselves an Irish Developing Squad............there are more riders from Vlaanderen on the team then from Ireland, an Irish sponsor with English interest an Belgian coach who never rode a bike in his life............call it what you want ............but it is a farce...............respect to Niko Eeckhoudt..............an Post would be better of keeping their money and invest it in real Irish talent
A great thing for ireland come on the lads.
