Domestic violence causes more deaths and disability among women worldwide than cancer, malaria, traffic accidents and war combined. Nowhere are women and girls more at risk in their own homes than in countries such as Ethiopia and South Africa. This shocking documentary explores how Africa is overcoming this secret culture of violence, deeply-rooted in the culture of Africa itself.

  • @bulluni back and examine how they treat their mothers and stop holding womyn to the whore/ virgin complex! When you say we had it coming for wanting to aspire higher and marry for gold, you are virtually saying that we deserve to be beaten for being errant womyn and having the audacity to think for ourselves and pursue what we know is best for us womyn, just like when pigs, ie cops blame domestic violence victims for speaking up. Your issue with us is our voice and entitlement to our bodies.

  • @bulluni getting pregnant are called "whores" and gold diggers while men who seduce and fuck up the lives of and deliberately only go after the most gorgeous womyn - even if they are out of his league - are excused and asre referred to as "Boys being boys" as if to make their behavior excusable and blame the victim by saying it's was the womyn's fault for her sexuality and morality, a thing men never get regulated for ie their morals and behaviors, esp. sexual. So society, men, need to step

  • @bulluni marry them. However, unlike men, womyn are expected to do it all for love and not for money or sex because society perceives a backwards attitude towards and about what womyn are supposed to sexually be, hence why it is considered "wrong" for a womyn to marry for money, yet it is considered A-Okay and alright for a man to fuck for fuck's sake and not care about loving the womyn or taking care of the womyn he bed with. Even in our slut shaming society, womyn who get abandoned after

  • @bulluni womyns' youth and innocence are called "victims". My logical mind can not process this hypocritical, amoral, MISOGYNIST lack of logic. Womyn get abused everyday and, like rape victim blame, the womyn somehow gets blamed for the violence" either for speaking up, talking back, being errant womyn, being gold diggers. Fact is, no man should ever put his hands on a womyn, regardless of her motivation for marrying him. That is her right. Many do not even know they were like that until they

  • @bulluni Yes and men seek out womyn for lust and only for their ass. Where is the moral condemnation for that? Fact is, womyn do seek out men for support because we have the kids. There are men who only marry womyn for their beauty. Again, where is the moral condemnation of that? Old men who are rich typically marry young girls, womyn and even sexually harass ie fuck their secretaries. Yet the wives, mistresses get called "gold diggers" while the nasty old men literally preying on the girls',

  • It is never ok to hit your spouse (male or female) out of anger. Only in immediate life threatening situations would it be permissible. My ex wife was an addict, unfaithful, irresponsible with our money and our daughter, and only once did I ever raise my hand to her and that was only when she had struck me in the head with a snow globe because I told her I was leaving with our child. Even with those circumstances, I've felt bad about it every day since then.

  • The Bride doesn't look happy at all.

  • please simonlives educate yourself on this issue..

  • I Love this channel!!! Journeyman keeps exposing these issues that you never the so called "news media" never shows.

  • Because they are middle class means they don't have domestic issues? How old are you, 12? Domestic violence affects every class.
