@GuitarFreak1901 Yea i already have my new guitar (which is not one of theese Epi's but it's Ibanez that also have two pickups and volume knob for each other so i can do a "killswitching" ... but i found out that it's useless to use it as a killswitch, and i'm also afraid that if i killswitch i will screw up the pickup selector.

Main differences: 310 is cheaper. 400 has a set neck and the 310 has a bolt on. The g400 has grover tuners, the 310 has unbranded cheap tuners. The 310 has the larger batwing pickguard. The 310 has dot inlays the 400 has trapezoid inlays. The g400 has better quality pickups, they are also covered. They are the main differences with the specs. There both great it just depends on how much money you want to spend.

400 is much smoother sounding right thing for bluesy clean sounds but 310 is a monsterrock axe with my big muff pi distortion best stuff for that money i guess

I think G-310 is not clear sounding but I think it's closer to the standard than the G-400. But I only listened from the demos on youtube. I was troubling how to choose from them.

just think of it this way... g-310 100% epiphone.... g-400 gibson authorized and 80% gibson =) i would pay the extra 100 to get the g-400.. and personally... i like the trapozoid inlays instead of the dots =)
