Thanks for the comments, I'm just a hobbyist, so if I can do OK beats with a KP3, anyone can.. Not everyone can drink Newkie Brown though, that's a whole other mess.. Proper brilliant though.

No software, if anything I used Audacity to edit .wav files for the drums and wobbles.

Other device is the Roland SP-404, older, but still decent.

Sorry for late response, enjoying summer..
Kaoss pas and Microkorg are ncie for dubstep, because you have a pad or knob to do real time effects.. If you can find the red Kaoss Pad, spend $100 of ebay/kijiji, and see if you like the functionality. In fact, the KP Mini, has some awesome settings.
The sounds are loops I made on the computer, then uploaded to the KP3 which is a trigger, then the pad can do real-time filters, for the wah wow sounds.

Thx for comments, I don't log in much.. Device to the right - Roland SP-404 (old now), but still decent. Rekorderlig and Guinness, definitely tip top. I'm just a hobbyist, but thx!
