Next Best Thing Bluegrass Band, Brent Burke on vocal lead with "Dark And Shady"

"Dark and Shady" was written by Colby Laney and is sung here by Brent Burke. Next Best Thing Bluegrass Band is performing at the 2009 Cabin Fever Bluegrass Breakout Concert on 16 April 2009 at the Kingsport (Tennessee) Civic Auditorium. .

"Next Best Thing" was organized by Sally and Tensel Sandker who are studying at ETSU in the bluegrass program. Band members (from left) are Brent Burke (dobro), Colby Laney (lead guitar), Sally Sandker (guitar), Tensel Sandker (bass), and Robert Trapp (banjo).

This celebration of local bluegrass talent was produced and sponsored by Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union (ACFCU). Other groups performing at this concert included The Ball Sisters Band and The Fall Creek Band.
