Lightning Slim and Slim Harpo is two different persons. J.D. Miller (Excello producer) came up with several "stage names" for the Excello artists, among them was Slim Harpo who was born James Moore. Lightnin' Slim was born as Otis Hicks.

I believe Lighting Slim and Slim Harpo are one in the same person, but no matter its still great to hear the old Blues singers.
