Powerbook G3 Wallstreet

Here is a nice example of an old school Macintosh, dual boot Os 9.2.2 / Puma 10.1.5. Its performances are not that bad considering that it has just 256mb of ram and it's 12 years old.

@cristigamberea what's ur problem? ur computer should have a dead battery or an hardware problem, i don't use yahoo, there are lots of articles about it online :)

very well written! i recently installed a retail version of jaguar, i'm really looking into swapping the daughter card with a 300mhz one.

i still think it has one of the best keyboard ever, beside the alps switch apple extended keyboard..recent keyboards are crappy.

Among all of the Powerbook G3 series, I always thought that the Wallstreet had the nicest most solid keyboard of them all. :)

My first Powerbook. I picked up another about four years ago and used it for my main machine for a couple of years. I even wrote an article about it on Low End Mac (no link; avoiding the spam filters). It once had OS 9 and Tiger on it, but now it's relegated to museum status running 10.2 Jaguar. I haul it to the coffee shop every so often. One of Apple's best designs. Classilla will run under Classic under Puma, I believe...
