  • not a bad cover...but the feel is totally different...a TOOL fan will only understand what i'm trying to say!!!

  • its annoying reading everybody bitch about how bad this is or how they try to be tool or whatever.. im a huge tool fan AND obviously so is Breaking Benjamin thats why they cover the songs.. its to pay tribute and respect to the bands that helped shape them so stopbitching obviously nobody is going to sound like tool sounds and they arent trying to either.. they took the time to learn the entire songs not just a little part like most bands so obviously they are fans too and i say KUDOS! well done

  • @ReBreakingBenjamin Absolutly spot on. The highest form of flattery is mimicry. They did a great job of BB covering Tool and that's what matters.

  • It's not a bad cover but Maynard has arguably the best voice of this generation. Covering him is painful due to his amazing range and unique sound. Not to mention those songs were his and suited to his vocal style.

  • I was a good listen. Brought back some memories of jammin' these two tunes out with friends. I am curious now though; were they given personal permission to play these? And did they play 'em live? Within reason, I find it is always cool to see favorite songs, re-imagined in a different artists light... Some of my fav Tool tracks, are just that. Cheers.

  • The Freeze could not have put it an better!

  • sober is better than stinkfist! and there pretty good over all but they just have not got the power ar scale of TOOL! then again no other band does!

  • By performing this song they are merely paying respect to Tool, covers aren't meant to be perfect. 'Away' by Breaking Benjamin shows elements that they have taken from tool, like how the verse is sung, the heaviness and the riffs. This is just them demonstrating who have influenced them.

  • both are the original tool music videos

  • ok, this is waaay better than the Aenima cover

  • I like! :D

  • whats the video from?
