Track and Protect for Android review

This is a quick review of Track and Protect, a consumer security application for Android and Symbian smartphones. TnP allows you to locate you phone if stolen, and remotely take photos, initiate calls, lock or wipe the phone, and even sound an alarm. It will even send you a text message if the thief swaps in a new SIM card. It's a very cool application that you ought to check out.

Question if you take the picture and the thief have it won't he be able to see the phone have a message and notice the phone was taking a pic of the thief?

@genestarwindjf80 The thief could certainly see that something was going on. Unlikely that he'd figure it out in time to do anything about it.

so what happenes if you boot it into recovery and wipe?

Does it work in Latin America? and, can you controll your cell by using also another cell? or only by a computer? I have the F-Secure Anti-theft on my Nokia N8, but it doesn't take a picture of the thief. Which is better?

Thank you Track and Protect! Yesterday my HTC was ripped and today i got it back thanks to this perfect software. I spend about $13 3 months ago, today was payback! It was stolen, 3 hours later i had thiefs number and location, including pics from inside his apartment! MUST HAVE ! (wish i made pics from cops faces when i handed all info collected on the trackandprotect website ;)
