Not long range for a shotgun at all. Plus there's the option of longer distance shells as well. They're a lot different in real life than the video games where you gotta be point blank.

@Antrizzle2009 you do get more time behind them but they are definatly not hard to get to.. especially if your a street guy like these people were..deallers making several thousands a week i dont see why they didnt get throw-away machineguns instead of pistols at times like these.

@dontmesswitme1 Automatic weapons carry heavier charges. Plus I'd imagine they're alot more difficult to get ahold of, especially considering these guys throw their weapons away after using them.

@101iamlegend It's the Wire, it's supposed to make you think! Yeah, suppressive fire is that which keeps its target from being able to shoot back, or at least not very well. Which is damn near what is happening to Omar & Co.
