Inland Empire definately entertains me. The goal of film is ultimate to manipulate emotions, right? That's what Inland Empire does, and the fact that it does that entertains me.
As far as the visual quality goes? I dunno. The typical Lynchian glowing and smoothness of 35mm film wouldn't have been right for this film at all. I think this film looks gorgeous as well, so it's a matter of opinion I guess. Twin Peaks is great also, but quite inconsistent. Fire Walk With me is a 5 star movie though!
