@packers256 im talking about 2011 world championship, its true that every team has beaten every team but nor really actually i can't really see japan beating russia, i don't see that happening, that match up is just boys against mens. But really Germany finished 4th last year ahead of Canada, and was giving russia a hard time last year there where break away on both sides but it was close game right down to the wire. Germany has young talents, Sulzer, and shutz or something like that are skilled

@okpapereat In what competition exactly are you talking about? 2010 Olympics? 2011 world championships? Every team has beaten every team. Canada didn't do well at the WC's this year. Also Russia has a terrible defense; they are very inconsistent and can lose to anyone. I'm not getting your point.

@packers256 Why ain't Germany being a power house? they have beat team USA, Germany was the under dog, and can you imagine a german team beating guys such as Nabokov, Kovalchuk, Datsyuk kaigorodov, and Ovechkin, seems like a impossible task right the Germans did it. And don't forget a Slovakian team of Gaborik Marian Hossa, and Jaroslav Halak a solid goalie who embarrassed the caps last season. To win against hockey powerhous is a step forward in the right direction don't you think?

@okpapereat Look, obviously Canada is good. Obviously India or any other Asian team won't become a power any time soon. I don't see Germany becoming a powerhouse any time soon. You could be a little more humble though.
