fyi a tablet is meant to start up that fast so it can't truly be compared to boot up with a lap macbook or any laptop for any reason.

I would still go for Mac OS simply because i need to access terminal with the nature of my work. If Windows 8 has that option, then i may consider but so far Windows OS have failed miserably in terms of flexibility with terminal.

So wait a minute, Is it me or is this test a little off? I mean if you wanted to truly test one OS against the other wouldn't you want to use the same hardware?

@benbudge The MacBook Pro is twice as powerful as the tablet and it still loses by over 30 seconds. I don't see any reason to go find a weaker Mac to do the comparison with when it already loses that badly.

@SkumpiJ The 2011 MacBook Pro takes 27 seconds to boot, still over twice as long as the Windows 8 boot, so it wouldn't make a difference. Not to mention the Tablet in this video isn't high-end, so why would I use a top of the line MacBook Pro to do a comparison anyway?
