With the Vela's straightforward assembly, anyone — from first-time captains to fierce competitors — can be ready to sail in under an hour. Preapplied graphics and deck detail add realism to the fiberglass racing hull. Its rigid, easily removable keel and large rudder provide responsive handling and strong performance in light to strong winds. The included Tactic™ 2.4GHz sailboat radio system lets you sail with any number of racers without signal conflicts. Its high-torque sail winch servo has plenty of muscle to move the model's big, colorful, fiber-reinforced sails. Fasteners attached to the high-strength rigging lines simply snap into eyelets installed on the deck, making sail control setup a fast, easy process.

@ATFMennace It's spelt both ways. The original spelling was "Aluminium" but later revised by Humphry Davy to "Aluminum". The British still spell it "Aluminium."
