Many people do not understand the impact of wasting electricity, even just one (1) minute a day. A lot of times, people leave the electric fan in their rooms, unattended while eating dinner, or going to the rest room, or just doing something outside of the room. Generally, electric fans are left unattended MORE THAN 1 MINUTE A DAY. Based on the latest statistics, there are 14.6 million households that consume electricity. At 1 minute of wasted energy a day, the entire Philippines would waste P53.3 million in a year. Thats at 1 minute per day. What about 5 minutes per day? The amount would go up significantly. There are a lot of ways, we can save energy. And one of them is by turning off the electric fan, when not in use.
