  • @LineagesMusic, I think he addresses your concerns at around 1:15, where he says that we shouldn't give up on technology but cultivate an appropriate relationship to it and that sometimes its better to not get lost even if that means being de-humanized a little. He's not a Luddite, just a 'concernful' being.

  • He isn't making very much sense, except he thinks we shouldn't use our technological advances to help us. He seems to be one of those people who believe that we are going to be taken over by machines.

    He needs to realize the fact that the technologies were made to HELP us, not REPLACE us. We will learn the things that we want to learn, and have the choice to listen to the GPS or not. Just because someone uses a GPS doesn't mean they won't realize they want to be a navigator, or geographist.
