@dan19961 This is late, I know, but I wanted to point out that Orton was originally suppose to have been the person to end the streak. It is not really brought up much, but his fan site and various other articles mention that Taker approached Orton shortly after the wrestlemania angle was brought up saying that he wanted him to be the guy to end the streak b/c he felt he had "it", and wanted to get his "legend killer" gimmick over more. However, Orton out of respect for Taker refused to do it.
