Just because leftists don't believe that we should use our military as a means of enforcing "democracy" in regions that don't want it doesn't mean that they don't appreciate the sacrifices made by those in service. Anyone who shows that kind of dedication to our country is worthy of recognition. Patriotism is dead in so many places; it's nice to see that there *are* still those who care.

All soldiers who fight terrorism are hero’s.

We cannot idly sit around and let the world’s enemies violate us, we ignored the threats long enough and we have been painfully reminded of what happens when we burry our heads in the sand-- WWII is a prime example of what happens when the world ignores an obvious threat, millions needlessly died --- I think our leaders have learned from the past and have prevented the destruction of millions by taking the war where it belongs.
