WHY I NEED AN OPEN BOTTOM TANK ???

If I have an upright fish tank of this size and height it will be very difficult to clean or to remove dirt from the bottom of the tank. And to clean these three huge tank will be a problem with an UPRIGHT tank, Water changing is another problem. The advantages of this OPEN BOTTOM concept is cleaning is easy and changing of water is not require as water is circulated with the water from the pond. The water is continuously flowing below these tank and the fish is also healthier and live longer. The height of ONE meter and above also allows the fish more space to move freely. Fish can also move between the two tank from the opening at the bottom of the tank..
The only problem is I need to feed the fish every day !!!!!

One of the things often overlooked when buying fish for your aquarium is the depth that fish prefer. Fish can generally be classified as top dwellers, middle dwellers or bottom dwellers. If you stock up too many fish of bottom dweller, they will start competing for space and they may end up with stressed.
Besides territorial issues, choosing a variety of fish that prefer different levels will give you a more attractive aquarium by not leaving other parts of the tank vacant.

TOP DWELLERS
Many aquarium decorations such as plants and ornaments sit on the substrate. If you dont have floating plants, the upper level could appear quite sparse and barren. Introducing top dwelling fish will add movement and color to the top level of the tank.

MIDDLE DWELLERS
The middle level ought to be the aquariums centre of attraction, so it is best to populate this level with active and colorful fish.

BOTTOM DWELLERS
Besides spicing up the lower levels, bottom dwelling fish help to keep the substrate clean

  • would be a shame if someone crashed their car threw that fence.

  • @xlxshanexlx Assholes would, and there's plenty around.

  • @TheAtheistAussie Who the hell would do that?

  • What stops someone from hoping the fence late at night and just smashing or stealing the tanks?

  • You are GOD!

  • In sweden they would last less than a week. Don´t ever go to scandinavia!

  • People there (where these tanks are) probably have way more respect than people in the US (sadly) so I don't think anyone is going to throw rocks a them anytime soon.

  • First... This must be a pain to clean.. second, isn't that a bit close to the street and open to the elements? Just curious

  • Lovely! Especially your koi!

  • Very gorgeous tanks and fish, but isn't it a bit dangerous to leave it exposed so closely to the street? what if a kid throws a pebble or breaks the tanks?
