I thought this was the best version of this song I've ever heard, and one of the best performances in Idol history. Just my opinion! She NAILED this song!

I hate this song, first of all. And, honestly, I wasn't crazy about this performance. I like Jordin, but she didn't get off to a great start.

people are pissed because changed it up... it's fun and young and the original is slow and great as well but not something a 17 year old could pull off... she did this song justice... and her vocals are amazing... more impresive to me than Tracy Chapman... both are incredible but I think Jordin deserves some props for this

To all you critics: If you can sing better, if you know so much about music, if you're so much more beautiful than Jordin Sparks, than why are you not a winner of American Idol? Why are your names not famous? Why are you left to put your pathetic criticism an an internet site rather than calling a press conference or publishing your opinion in a credible source? yes that had superior vocals but that's not what it's all about. Jordin has that extra something special that sets her apart from the rest and makes her marketable.
