The same type of double-deck trains operate in Germany and were build by Bombardier. The trains consist of ABs 7900 type double-deck driver cabs and B 7700 and Bk 7800 type double-deck intermediate coaches and provide a significant passenger capacity on Denmarks wide rail network. They are used for regional and suburban services. I filmed these squeaking railroads on arrival at Copenhagen Central from the Tietgensgade Road bridge on April 12th 2011.

  • all the double deck trains in denmark are pushed/pulled by diesel "litra ME"

  • @danishown2 Thanks for letting me know. I will publish more videos about these trains as soon as I have them ready.

  • @railwaylive These lokomotives are 30 years old!

But there are rumors that they are going to be replaced by Siemens ER-20

  • @danishown2 So I am really lucky to have had a look at these locos while still in operation. :-)

  • Surely a beautiful work. Congratulations!

  • @Gian2812 Like always, many thanks and have a good weekend.
