I hate how society is so quick to hate and despise those that are different like Manson. Never mind getting to the bottom of what they are really like or trying harder to understand them... Instead because they are different, hate them and alienate them for they don't fit into their close-minded views of how things operate. And the worse part is that we haven't stopped making that same mistake nor learned from it for HUNDREDS OF YEARS.

@InSingularity There's a lot of subtlety as well. I like it.

I love this era of Manson. It could be my favourite, because it's so personal and introspective and honest.

Marylin Manson spreads love more than any church I've been too. He reaches out to the hurting, he has a huge heart for kids who are depressed, broken, hopeless, alone and wants to give them hope. And I whole heartedly believe the Bible as exclusive truth, and Jesus would never protest this guy, the only group Christ ever got mad at or insulted was the Church. Jesus would eat lunch with this guy, chill with him and his friends and spread messages of peace and love.

Marilyn Manson seems like he's just gonna joke about and be cool, Henry Rollins always looks like he's going to either stab you or send you to military school.

I think Henry Rollins is scary than Manson, not that I have ever found Manson scary.

I started listening to Manson's music when a was ten and that music made me feel just right. After This is the new shit I started listening to rock music, my eyes and my mind opened very much and it made a person I am proud to be. This man made me who I am today and I really wanna thank him for that.
I'm not even a big fan of Manson's music, but I love listening him to him talk. He manages to remain calm amidst insane accusations (Politically Incorrect anyone?). The man is intelligent. People need to listen to what he has to say.

As a child, I thought MM was a crazy satanist evil singer, because thats how my parents portrayed him, and the media portrayed him. Then I heard some of his songs, Rock Is Dead, Beautiful People,etc.. and thought this guy is the shit. People judge him on his image, not his music or lyrics. It's a shame because he's 1 of the most talented musicians in rock today.
