Community activist and former city councilor Eric Navickas was forcefully restrained by Ashland Police Officer John Perrone, while leading a march demonstrating against the proposed Mt. Ashland Ski Expansion. Moments before the beginning of this clip, Officer Perrone violently flung Navickas across the hood of his squad car, in downtown Ashland on June 28, 2011.

  • You're a complete boob for posting a video of people walking down the street and making an accusation as to an alleged "violently flung"......if you don't have it on tape, you should probably not post such a ridiculous accusation. Even the local news doesn't have this right.

  • @bkburket See part 1, friend. I was there, I witnessed the whole incident, and I stand by my description above.

  • what you are doing marching down the street is actually illegal, you need a permit to do this...

  • Fuckin Hippies...your not changing anything and never will

  • The police showed great restraint (and I don't particularly like cops). Navickas is lucky he didn't get clubbed, tazzed or both. As far as Mt. Ashland goes, you lost. Get over it.
