@mikewarmblood Were the old DD of the opposed piston design running on the 2-stroke cycle? I love those engines. Common in America but not in Europe. Shame.

This video was worthy for me to download!! I LOVE bus videos! Sounds like a Cummins ISC 8.3 It is a beautiful bus. I do miss the sounds of a DD powered bus. Mine have 6v92 and the other an 8v71. Those days are long gone. But I hope to get a bus with a 4 stroke T mounted affair. Thanks for the video.

@MTLtransitvideos I have researched it. It is an 8.9 liter engine, being based on an original 8.3 liter version.

@1100HondaCB I don't know, lol. You might want to search about it. ;) I'm just referring to the year and the sound of the bus.

@MTLtransitvideos We have Cummins ISC 6.7L in many of our buses. What capacity is the ISL? I guess 11L.
-
@1100HondaCB Cummins ISL EPA 2007
-
What engine does it have? I'm guessing a Cummins.

Neat video! Thanks for sharing this point of view. I did a similar one when I was operating the Olympic Line streetcars in Vancouver last year.

@NesMax I'm a Canadian and live in Quebec. I actually saw NovaBus's main factory in Saint-Eustache one time during the summer when I was with my brother and my dad and we had to move a lot of stuff to my dad's new garage in Longueuil. We used a U-Haul truck to take care of the work.
@RianTrace..It is old school 275hp TD, ZF transmission and 4 wheel disc brakes.
