A couple of short clips of the some scenes and sounds of the San Gennaro Feast located at Little Italy in Manhattan. This whole area is surrounded by culture as Little Italy is also located in Chinatown, all in the Lower East Side / Lower Manhattan area!
New York City's biggest, most famous and longest running religious festival - The 85th Annual Feast of San Gennaro, Inc. - will take place in Little Italy for 11 days, from Thursday, September 15, through Sunday September 25, 2011. The Feast is presented by Figli di San Gennaro (Children of San Gennaro), a not-for-profit community organization which has produced and operated the Feast since 1996.
What to expect at the San Gennaro Feast? Food, fun, shops and more! Lots of things to check out here. The San Gennaro Feast is along parts of Grand Street along with the majority of Mulberry Street in Little Italy at the Lower East Side / Lower Manhattan / Chinatown areas.
Hopefully I'll have a more detailed video soon, I apparently chose to come here at the wrong time. I will also be getting videos of the Chinatown area as well so stay tuned!
