  • I sure wish I was there to join the fun. I spent many a years working in Alabama and loved it, but always had trouble finding pickers for a jam session...must have been looking in the wrong places..lol.....best wishes from almost heaven West Virginia...

  • Hello Ron,

Pickin is still alive and well in Alabama, but you do have to know where to look

  • The violinist needs to take more control, the mandolin rocks. Good rhythm sections.

  • That same music festival is this coming weekend, but I can't go

  • My uncle was in a bluegrass band. They played for President Roosevelt back in the day.

  • I've read about your Uncle. He was from Skyline Farms wasn't he?

  • He was from the Wininger area, near Skyline.

  • Its becoming rare to find a trad band in Ireland aswell... everyone wants to be a rockstar :(

  • Everyone was having a very good time and the youngster was terrific

  • that looked like a fun time. I got to experience some of that when i was living in Missouri. The banjos sound especially awesome to me. That kid looked like he was doing a pretty good job.
