The problem with MTV,and almost every radio station,is that their format is currently shaped and driven by marketing demographics instead of by the diversity and quality of the music.So that's why this decades airwaves have been largely dominated by crap that only 'tweens' want to hear,instead of by the variety of music that's actually still out there.

The "Old School" term scared me a bit...but - as a veteran of twenty one plus CRAMPS shows between 19978 -2004...they upheld a tradition now seemingly lost.

Lux and Ivy were the quintessential American rock band which embodied the essential elements of all that had come before them.

The CRAMPS will be sorely missed for generations to come.
