You're right. Although eclipsed by Madoff, Dreier needs to be studied as well--both as an attorney and a clinical psychology case. Dreier and Madoff used our lack of due diligence against us all. The suffering they caused--just incredible. We need to get deep into the sources of their individual pathologies and the financial methods of their shared madness. Two peas in a pod.

Marc Dreier is to Bernard Madoff what Gary Condit was to September 11th. Ordinarily, this fake tanned sleazebag with a cheesy smile and even cheesier fashion sense (and sporting a $390 million hoax tab) would have been in the headlines of every financial rag. Thanks to Mr. Madoff, he's not even page 3 material.

Just like Gary Condit, whose extramarital fucking of subsequently dead interns proved to be an emphemeral obsession in the US, once something much bigger came along on 9-11.
