1992.

I believe they are. Either that or 1994.
-
Are the 1701-1808 are the 1992 models?
-
ima start doing recordings now
-
The 9700s have that "Grim Reaper" exhaust note which when the engine is idle, the pitch is in the key of F or G.
In Portland, OR, Tri-Met's oldest Flxibles (since the retirement of the 1988-89 models in 2003-04), units 1701-1808, have that same "Grim Reaper" exhaust note (key of F at idle).
That's why I'm apt to think of many modern Flxibles as "Grim Reaper" buses due to their annoying exhaust note.
-
Too bad the air conditioner covers up the "Grim Reaper" exhaust note.
-
sound like those TTC buses from toronto

You're absolutely welcome. I have 2 more of these (9805 and 9808), but they're too long for YouTube.

I need to learn how to do these audio recordings. I have audio recordings on my camera, but I need to find a way to get them on my computer.

If that's the case, plug the camera up to your computer, then drag-n-drop the files onto the desktop.
