That's like the stupidest concern ever! What's so different about being black in Japan, Canada or Nepal?

I never felt anyone treated me any different than a white gaijin cauz for them i'm a gaijin period.

Although a couple of weeks ago i got a "you look like Alicia Keys" (which i don't AT ALL lol). I also got Beyonce, Keri Hilson etc. Well, i know i look nothing like them but it is an ego boost lol. I get questions about my hair as well but i get the same exact questions from white people so...

I'm a Black guy. I'm going to japan in December. I want to play the guitar in Tokyo at open mics and start a band. I will be trying to get a record deal some how some way but will I have an advantage because I'm black?

Have you seen or experienced any differences in the way black women and black men are treated in Japan?? Also do you see interracial dating in Japan...Like do you notice it becoming more acceptable??

I'm a black female and I'm going to Japan next Spring for 5 months through my college's exchange program. So, I;m curious about all of this...
