S Class mercedes fighting the iced over street.

My 1995 S class doing its best to get into the driveway. Everything was iced over, and not a single snow plow or salt truck was seen all day. A pain in the ass to say the least.

Update:
Due to a lot of negative comments i'd like to add. The tires were very worn and this car was not used during harsh conditions during this specific winter.

ever seen a diff/ drive shaft after high speed spinning suddenly grips? Diff get's also so hot that perhaps in the end gives diff lock effect. Dealer will not object, good money to be made.

Use winter tires!

If used and still no grip, put some weight in the boot.

It even that wont work, lower the tire pressure a bit.

Or use the easy ways: a bucket full of sand or an old table cloth
