*Disclamer* I do not own the song Violet Hill by Coldplay. This content is copyrighted content owned my EMI records and the musicians themselves.

Sorry if the timings off, but I suck with technology.
And for the random Dilbert comic. I didn't notice that until way after it was loaded. Thats not going to make sense whatsoever in the slideshow. Sorry.

How I see the world.

I cannot say that my worldview is a one-way street. I see negatives in the world as well as positives. I see things that are screwed up, as well as shining forces that inspire me to think outside myself and look through the ever-changing spectrum that surrounds me. Thats why I chose city lights as a metaphor for my worldview.
These lights are scattered and chaotic, often blinding, but still manage to create an intriguing scene, filled with wondrous and sometimes unnerving sights. I like to try to see compassion in people, such as the soldier cradling an injured child, or the people who try to spread awareness and advocate for a cause they believe in.
Within all the Positive and Negative things I see, irony is also a part of my view on the world. With so many ideas that constantly bombard us within media, I find ironic humor a bit of a coping mechanism to help digest all of it.
A lot of the images are out of order, and might be a little confusing, so I apologize for that, but in a way it kind of reflects on the crazy world we live in. One moment you could see something great, and the next moment you can see something very different. In this world, we just need to make sense of it all.
Another element included in this is cultural diversity. I think a very important thing to recognize is the amazing diversity we have on this planet, and that we should cherish it rather than discriminate against it. Personally, it ticks me off when people think their way I the only way. To me, this doesnt seem right.
I chose the song, Violet Hill by Coldplay because its music (Not nessicairily lyrics) tied in well with my world view. Its heavy and soft at the same time, and it has a way of working well, even though the sounds are very different. I can identify with the lyrics as well, but I dont think the lyrics are represented in this project as much as the music is.
All in all, I see the world as a place with bad and good, but nevertheless, an incredible, interesting and diverse place. Overall, I believe in making a difference, but also embracing what surrounds us, as it is an amazing place to live.
