There are a few pictures showing what it looked like when the water started, but most of them are RECENT, of the (supposedly) full amount of water we are supposed to be getting. (Stillin basin is pumping out 150,000 cfs)

Holly, I was stationed at Ellsworth A.F.B. in the 1980's and fished this area alot. Your vidoe was fantastic but very sad. The many years of memories my wife and I had, then to see the flooding is really heart breaking. We use to fish under the bridge of the emergency spillway. From what I remember, each discharge channel was like 6-8' across and 8-10' tall, but that was a few years ago. This video really hit home in the memories and now the sadness that all you nice people are having to endur.

I have family in Pierre but I live in West Texas. Worst drought here since 1918. Trees dying. Burnt off pastures look like Sahara Desert. Mother Nature is really something. Whenever we wee humans try to outsmart her or control her, she always has her way with us!! I truly feel for ya'll up there. Come on down and dry out - we have lots of beach - just no water.
