i watched your video months ago. I thought of it each time I cut my avocado. I even thought of it when I was cutting that avocado tonight. Sure I was using a steak knife, I thought I could work that pit out. I knew the risks. I'd be extra carful! That pit is slick, it spins lighting flast, and that avocado is so soft when it is ripe. Softer then the tisue in my hand that the knife slips into too quickly. Oh Shit! Did I? Yes, yes I did. Lucky for me I washed and pinched it quick enough. dummy!

I got a big scar on my left hand too, but...just not from errh...de-pitting avocados. Anyway, my dad told me to just insert (not stab!) the knife beside the pit and just push the knife down, and it'll pop out since the knife is a lever and whatnot, but erg, a dead finger gotta stink. So you'll be out of crafting for a while? :(
