@winsevenholic lol and there is the million dollar Q, Antivirus is only as good as you use it. update it and run scans and it will help. I personally use AVG FREE but AVAST! is another good one that has a free edition also. I dont use paid for antivirus myself because from my experience they have done no better than the free.

@SuperComputerNoob yeah.. true..
:)
btw,, for now.. what the best antivir..? for paid and for free edition?

@winsevenholic I use my netbook for just about everything except gaming lol, but I even play a few games on it too, I do alot of reading online, and like to be very portable and my netbook is perfect for it.

@SuperComputerNoob oh.. yes..
readyboost is the best free program from win7 ^^
now u just use your netbook?
-
@winsevenholic Yes on 1GB of ram Linux is pretty much lag free, win7 lags at startup and sometimes at shutdown but even my game'n rig lags when it starts up. 1GB ram is enough to run either of them, I also have a 4GB flash drive for readyboost on win7, seems to have saved me from buy'n another GB of ram so I saved a lil money with that.

what..? u dual boot on 1GB ram..?? no lag or slow at shutdown??

@SuperComputerNoob very true. ever try the 10.04 netbook UI for your ubuntu setup? it has more of a 'touchscreen' feel but for a 10 inch screen it definitely makes it easier to navigate. and yeah 1GB of ram is plenty on linux. most distros are optimized to run on 256 MB--512 MB minimum. nice vid
