Wow still a huge airplane 747 I can hear most plans from where I live sounded like UFO in the early morning hours.like WTF where is that sound coming from?? Its everywhere!! Hurn is only 4 1/2 miles away by the Russell Crowes nose LOL

@judemassey999 I can assure you (as a resident of poole/bournemouth for 30 yrs) that is Bournemouth airport.... even though you seem adamant it isn't do you live in Bournemouth?

@judemassey999 Actually we do fly 747's, In November, December and In February to - Apapaulco, Barbados and New York.

Did you get a shooting permission? I heard they are quite sensitive regarding all the security measures. I really want to shoot some HD video around there.

why an earth would an arab 747 be based at Bournemouth and theres another one of these 747s at Liverpool they only come once every 2 weeks or so for long haul flights or it may have been a one off

@plinz1 there is a 747 owned by the saudi arabian royal family (or some people like that) that's based at bournemouth but no commercial 747's unfortunately :-(

There are 2 parked on tango for storage, and the quatar 747 is an sp not a 400 series anyway
