My fist time on a 747-400 ans first time with the Lufthansa. From San Francisco Airport to Frankfurt Airport, coming back home. We were leaving at the same time with all the heavy a/c.

  • Wow! San Fran to Frankfurt! I bet that was one long long long trip. My flight from Washington D.C. to Frankfurt was almost 8 hours. How long was this flight?

  • @germanchocolate1982 this trip must have been around 11 hours. But then it's 9 hours time difference. You fly almost a "whole day".

  • do you remember, whats the name of the crew?

  • @mo26092609 no.. it was a too long ago

  • Every United 777 I have flown has the seats in coach class configured 2-5-2. I have never flown in another carrier's 777, but I know most have 3-3-3.

  • @bigboobtuber they have 3-4-3 configuration, which i hate.. same as the 747.

    I prefer the 2-5-2.

  • fast forward to 055.

  • Those othere pilots are screaming and crapping in their drawers - NOBODY like to take off after a 747 the turbulance can last for 15 minutes!!!!!!!!

  • Will be doing this exact same but from LAX

  • Awesome video. Also a extremely long T/O roll. Love the way the wings start to bend as the lift starts to come on them.

  • @sgkhcol it's around12 hours. I've flown that route before and yes I was very glad to get off the plane and back on the ground. But it was worth it.

  • The last time the two of us (wife and myself) flew from the USA to Frankfurt, our employer purchased all four adjacent inner seats towards the rear of the aircraft. The resulting flight, with room to stretch and recline more fully, was better than even business class seating. We also got four servings during each meal instead of the usual two. The meals, however, were not as good as those served in business class.
