This is a short video of some of the children I recently spent a week with in Kenya, thanks to African Equity. African Equity is a privately funded, non government organisation that is aimed at improving the lives of African children living in extreme poverty. Currently, their largest project is the support of Heroes of the Nation orphanage, located in Nyahuru, Kenya, which provides an education for 530 preschoolers to year 12 students. They also support a technical college, a local store and a mechanics garage all under the wing of Heroes of the Nation. These children have never experienced the simple joys we take for granted every single day - clean water, electricity, a decent meal or a warm bed.
