  • Good old Battersea Park Where I used to play Tennis and The gas works near bye ! I remember Petula Clarke In the old Movies The Huggetts she was Lovely

  • It was more of a hobby. He wrote two other songs performed by Petula Clark - It's Fun Finding out About London and Any Time is Tea Time Now..

  • @rlavender23 It's a great song. Was your father a regular songwriter?

  • The words and music are by Les Clark, David Valentine and Joe Henderson and was written in 1954. David Valentine was the name used by my father, David Lavender.
