what tires did you guys run on the carpet? our local carpet track won't let us drift because they say the tires will damage the carpet.

what motors do you people run? I just bought a HPI E-10 and it says it has a 27turn but i dont seem to be, feels more like a 540 or somik.

HPI E10 will be a 540 27t, we mostly use 19t (yokomo d1sp).
Music is The Creeps by Fedde le Grande
We were using Yokomo single ring drift tyres here, they won't damage the carpet mate.

thanks for the info, now to convince our local track owner!
have you tried ABS, HPI T-Types or other hard plastic-type tires on carpet? (not that Yok single rings aren't mostly hard plastic)

Used ABS and PVC, the edges need rounding off so there isnt any way of ripping the carpet
