Beautifully performed, the tenor is incredible!
There is a sad note to it, though; one of the greatest octavists of all time is no long with us. Rest in peace Mr Pasjukov.

Beautiful church. What is the name of the church and where is it located?

Its Nice hear Popov and Pasuikov singing together, both working at the highest and lowest extremes of the male voice. Its also funny because both worked with St Petersburg Male Choir. Rhacmaninov was true genius, at writing symphonies, piano works and specially in chorale. I thank God for the Vespers!!

This is my favorite of all the Rachmaninov vespers, and I like this version even better than the Orthodox Male Singers version . . . the sound is luminous, radiant, full of joy though solemn. There are some tiny changes in dynamics that are just delicious . . . and of course, Mr. Vladimir Pasyukov provides an beautifully authoritative ending. Spasibo, Aleksei!
